November tournament was Saturday, November 15, 2025 at Davis Golf Course in Davis, CA. We had 27 golfers and the weather was sunny at first but a little cloudy and chilly in the end. October tournament was Sunday, October 12, 2025 at The Golf Club at Copper Valley in Copperopolis, CA. We had a great day of beautiful weather. The course was in ok shape because of a large tournament the day before. September tournament was Saturday and Sunday, September 20, 2025 at Toiyabe Colf Club, New Washoe City, NV and September 21, 2025 at Carson Valley Golf Course, Gardnerville, NV. The weather was perfect and fun was had by all. We were challenged by beautiful Toiyabe GC and had an easy day at Carson Valley GC. August tournament was Sunday, August 17, 2025 at Teal Bend Golf Course in Sacramento, CA. The weather was cool with a little wind. May tournament was Saturday, May 17, 2025 at Hidden Valley Lake Golf Course in Hidden Valley Lake, CA. The weather was a bit windy but all in all pretty nice. March tournament was Saturday and Sunday, March 15, 2025 at Monterey Pines GC in Monterey, CA, and March 16, 2025 Pacific Grove Golf Links in Pacific Grove, CA. February tournament was Sunday, February 16, 2025 at Haggin Oaks Mackenzie Golf Course in Sacramento, CA. The weather started out a little drizzly, but it got much better after tee off. 2024

December tournament was Sunday, December 15, 2024 at Empire Ranch Golf Club in Folsom, CA. We were able to golf in between storms and it was a little soggy, but we had a great time. November tournament was Sunday, November 10, 2024 at Callippe Preserve Golf Course in Pleasanton, CA. March tournament was Saturday and Sunday, March 16 & 17 at Bayonet Golf Course and Black Horse Golf Course in Seaside, CA. We had 23 golfers basking in the beauty of the Monterey Bay. The weather was pretty nice but the course was brutal due to cart path only after several rain storms. September tournament was Saturday & Sunday, September 9 & 10, 2023 at Dayton Valley Golf Course, Dayton NV and Toiyabe Golf Club, New Washoe City, NV respectively. The weather was perfect and both golf courses were in good shape considering the wet weather that had passed through the week before. We had a great time in Carson City area. August tournament was Sunday, August 13, 2023 at Apple Mountain Golf Resort in Camino, CA. The course was in pretty nice shape but it was a bit warm and humid. We had golfers for a very fun day. April tournament was Saturday April 22, 2023 at Lincoln Hills Golf Club (Orchard Course) in Lincoln, CA. It was a beautiful day with 28 golfers and a lot of fun. March tournament was Saturday and Sunday, March 18 & 19 at Laguna Seca Golf Ranch and Del Monte Golf Course in Monterey, CA. There were 27 golfers and a lot of fun. The weather was unpredictable and iffy but we managed to have a near perfect day on Saturday and narrowly escaped rain, wind, and sideways rain on Sunday. February tournament was Saturday, February 25, 2023 at Poppy Ridge Golf Course in Livermore, CA. There were 25 brave souls who came out to golf with temperatures in the 40’s and snow covered surrounding mountains. It was very burrry but beautiful at the same time. 2022

December tournament was Sunday, December 4, 2022 at Teal Bend Golf Course in Sacramento, CA but was cancelled due to rainy weather. The 2023 upcoming tournaments have been posted so take a peak. November tournament was Sunday, November 20, 2022 at Lone Tree Golf Course in Antioch, CA. We had a small turnout today but we had a great time. The weather was really nice, the course was in decent shape and the greens were really tough. Happy Thanksgiving to everyone.

October tournament was Sunday, October 9, 2022 at Mather Golf Course in Mather, CA. We had 28 golfers and the course was in really nice shape. The weather was a warm 88 but we muddled through. This year has gone by so fast. Thanks to all the members and non-members who have made it a great year so far.

September tournament was Saturday & Sunday, September 17 & 18, 2022 at Whitehawk Ranch Golf Club in Clio, CA and Graeagle Meadows Golf Club in Graeagle, CA. We had a turnout of 22 golfers for two wonderful days in Graeagle. CA. Thankfully the smoke was not bad and the weather was pretty nice. Thanks to all who played this tournament, we’re looking forward to many more.

August tournament was Saturday, August 13, 2022 at Haggin Oaks Alister Mackenzie Golf Course in Sacramento, CA. We had a 8:03 a.m. tee time and were happy to be finished before it reached 100. July tournament was Saturday, July 16, 2022 at Hiddenbrooke Golf Club in Vallejo, CA. We had a smaller turnout than usual but still have a great day. The course is in really nice shape and it was very unforgiving. The Coastal fog layer was present when we started but it quickly warmed up to mid 80’s for a nice day of golf. June tournament was Sunday, June 12, 2022 at River Oaks Golf Club in Nicolaus, CA. We had a good turnout and the weather was pretty nice with a moderate temperature but the wind picked up and gave us a challenge. The golf course was in really nice condition. April tournament was Sunday, April 10, 2022 at Rancho Murieta Country Club South course in Rancho Murieta, CA. There were 25 golfers at this tournament and the weather was very nice with very little wind. Is it me or is this year just blowing by?! March tournament was Saturday & Sunday, March 12 & 13, 2022 at Laguna Seca Golf Ranch in Monterey, CA and Pacific Grove Golf Links in Pacific Grove, CA. We had a total of 24 good friends/golfers and two glorious days in beautiful Monterey and Pacific Grove. I don’t think we could’ve asked for more perfect weather, this is definitely one for the books. Thank you all for making this a perfect weekend, can’t wait for the next one!

2021

December tournament was Saturday, December 11, 2021 at Wildhawk Golf Club in Sacramento, CA. We had a great day and it was a nice course to wrap up our year of golf. We escaped the wet and windy weather and enjoyed visiting at the 19th hole. September tournament was Saturday and Sunday, September 18 & 19th at Genoa Lakes Golf Club in Genoa, NV. We had a total of 30 golfers. This was our second two day tournament for the year and it was a success. Saturday’s weather was very windy and the Genoa Ranch course wasn’t in the best shape, but it was a successful day. Sunday’s weather was a lot better with some gusts of wind but overall the Genoa Lakes course was awesome and highly recommended. August tournament was Saturday, August 14, 2021 at Morgan Creek Golf Course in Roseville, CA. There were 18 golfers for a nice day of golf. July tournament was Sunday, July 11, 2021 at La Contenta Golf Course in Valley Springs, CA. There were 20 golfers that came out to brave the heat which topped 106°. If it weren’t for the slight breeze I think it would’ve been unbearable. We are now able to go into the clubhouse after the tournament for some cool air, cold drinks, and a lot of fun. June tournament was Saturday, June 12, 2021 at Castle Oaks Golf Club in Ione, CA. The weather was really nice and the course was in good shape. Golf has become popular again so adding tee times to our tournaments has been tough so make sure you reserve a spot for the tournament when we send out an email. April tournament was Saturday, April 10, 2021 at The Reserve at Spanos Park in Stockton, CA. The course was in outstanding shape and the staff were great. March tournament was Saturday and Sunday, March 20 & 21st at Black Horse & Bayonet in Seaside, CA. WOW, what a gorgeous weekend in Seaside, CA. We had a great time golfing and the course was in perfect shape. There were a lot of friends, plenty of sun, and a lot of sand traps but it was well worth the trip. February tournament was Sunday, February 21st at Bartley Cavanaugh in Sacramento, CA. After a couple of stormy weeks, the weather for this tournament was like Spring. We had a turn out of 27 golfers and had a great time visiting and catching up on the deck after. January tournament was Saturday, January 16th at Eagle Vines Golf Club in American Canyon, CA. One down, 11 to go, keep your fingers crossed. 2020

November tournament was Saturday, November 14th at Cypress Lakes Golf Club in Vacaville, CA. This course is very unassuming but it kicked our butts. The fairway’s were in good shape and the greens were fast and harder then they looked. All in all we had a great time. September tournament was Saturday, September 26th at Turkey Creek Golf Club in Lincoln, CA. The course was in great shape, the deer were frolicking in the fairways and the weather was perfect. It’s been a crazy year and we’re coming to the end of 2020 but we’ve made the best of it and hope to hit it hard in 2021. August tournament was Sunday, August 16 at The Ridge Golf Club in Auburn, CA. The weather was very warm and humid in the morning and very hot in the afternoon. July tournament was Saturday, July 25th at Elkhorn Golf Club in Stockton, CA. The Elkhorn Golf Club was in good shape, the staff accommodated the players with single beautiful new golf carts if they preferred, the diner and bar were open for a nice outdoor gathering with social distance. June tournament was Saturday, June 20th at Rancho Murieta Golf Club (North course) in Rancho Murieta, CA. The weather was nice for the first nine but got a little toasty for the second nine. The staff at Poppy Ridge were amazing and the course was in beautiful condition. We enjoyed old friends and welcomed some new friends. We had a great day at Wildhawk, it was a little wet after the few days of rain that we had in the valley, but all in all we had a good time.

September tournament was Saturday, September 14, 2019, at Bing Maloney Golf Complex in Sacramento, CA. We had a bit of a heat wave but the 8:03 tee time helped us finish before the temperature was too hot, phew!

August tournament was Saturday, August 17, 2019, at Micke Grove Golf Links in Lodi, CA. The weather was a comfortable 88°, considering the previous three days were between 104° and 108°, it was definitely perfect for golf.

July tournament was Saturday, July 13, 2019, at Empire Ranch Golf Club in Folsom, CA. The weather was gorgeous with our 8:00 a.m. tee time, but quickly warmed up letting us know it was going to be a hot afternoon. The course was in great shape.

June tournament was Sunday, June 23, 2019, at Rancho Solano Golf Course in Fairfield, CA. Wow what a great day! The course was in great shape and the weather couldn’t have been better.

May tournament was postponed due to unusual rain! Sorry for the inconvenience but the wind and rain were really bad. I don’t know about you but I’m not particularly fond of wind and rain when it comes to golf. Either way we had to cancel this tournament because the weather did not cooperate.

April 2019 tournament was Saturday, April 13, 2019, at Haggin Oaks, McKenzie Course, in Sacramento. It was an early tournament but nice to have been done by lunch time. The course was in great shape and the weather was perfect.

March 2019 tournament was Sunday, March 24, 2019 at Teal Bend Golf Course in Sacramento, CA. It was a little chilly in the morning, but when the sun shown through the overcast it was warm and welcomed. We had a great turnout, probably because everyone’s a little water logged from all the rain.

February 2019 tournament was Saturday, February 23, 2019 at Elkhorn Country Club in Stockton, CA. The weather was great and the greens were tough. Overall it was a great day for golf (but we’re kind of biased =)).

January 2019 tournament was Saturday, January 26th at Mather Golf Course in Mather, CA. The tournament was delayed one week due to wet weather conditions and even though it had been over a week since the storm, the course was still wet and a bit muddy. All in all we had a good time. We are looking forward to a great 2019 golf year.

2018

December 2018 tournament was Sunday, December 9th at Wildhawk Golf Club in Sacramento. It’s hard to believe this was the last tournament of 2018, but it was fun. The weather was chilly and a little damp, but the golf course was in good shape.

November 2018 tournament was scheduled for Sunday, November 18th at Elkhorn Golf Club in Stockton but had to be cancelled due to poor air quality from the Camp Fire in Butte County. Our thoughts are with those who have been affected by this incident. We look forward to rescheduling this course in the future.

October 2018 tournament was Saturday, October 13th at Empire Ranch Golf Club in Folsom. We had a great turnout, the course was in great shape, and we couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful.

September 2018 tournament was Sunday, September 9th at Turkey Creek Golf Club in Lincoln. The day was much warmer than the weather person said it would be but we had a beautiful day. The course was in great shape and the wildlife were abundant.

August 2018 tournament was Sunday, August 19th at Rancho Solano Golf Club in Fairfield. The weather was warm, the sky was a little smokey, the fairways were nice, but the greens were very tough. All in all we had a great day.

July 2018 tournament was Saturday, July 14th at Chardonnay Golf Club in American Canyon. The marine layer was chilly in the morning and required a light jacket, but it quickly burned off for a beautiful day on the course.

June 2018 tournament was Sunday, June 24th at Rancho Murieta North in Rancho Murieta. It was a beautiful but hot day. We tee’d off around 11:07 a.m. and by the early afternoon, it was about 97 degrees. The grounds were perfect and the greens were tough but fun was had by all.

May 2018 tournament was Saturday, May 5th at Diablo Grande Golf Club in Patterson. The day was sunny, the course was nice, and we had a great time.

April 2018 tournament was at DarkHorse Golf Club in Auburn. The sun was shining and the course was riddled with wildlife, water features, and was beautiful. The temperature was in the low 80’s and it sure felt good. We had a record 36 golfers, including some old friends and some new friends with a smile from ear to ear.

March 2018 call it March Madness, call it a March miracle. Either way we had to cancel this tournament because the weather did not cooperate with 100% chance of rain and very windy. We will definitely reschedule this course for later in the year.

February 2018 tournament was at Timber Creek Golf Course in Roseville. The course was tough but in great shape. The weather was overcast and chilly, and the wind picked up a little making it an even bigger challenge.

January 2018 tournament was at Mather Golf Club in Mather. The conditions were foggy and damp, but we persevered. We are looking forward to a great 2018 golf year.

2017

December 2017 tournament at Wildhawk Golf Club in Sacramento was by far our biggest and a huge year end success. The course was in great shape and the weather couldn’t have been better. That’s a wrap for 2017, but we’re headed for a stellar 2018.

November 12, 2017 tournament at Turkey Creek Golf Club in Lincoln was a great day for golf. The weather started out chilly, but warmed up to the low 60’s with a bit of overcast. The end of 2017 is fast approaching and we’re hoping you’ll join us at Wildhawk for our year end tournament.

October 15, 2017 tournament at Paradise Valley Golf Course in Fairfield has been postponed to a later date. Unfortunately the devastating fires in the wine country are affecting the air quality and too close to the golf course. We’re very sorry for the cancellation and will send an email as to the new date. Our thoughts are with all those who are affected by the devastating fires.

September 17, 2017 tournament was a beautiful end of summer day for golf at Castle Oaks Golf Club in Ione. The weather was perfect at around 85°. It’s sad to see summer near its end, but we’re looking forward to Autumn and the upcoming tournaments we have scheduled.

August 12, 2017 tournament was a blast at The Reserve at Spanos Park in Stockton. The weather was a little warm and the wind picked up at the end, but all in all the day was perfect for golf.

July 15, 2017 was a great day at Rancho Solano Golf Course in Farifield. The course was in great shape and the greens were tough.  It did get a little warm and a good time was had by all. Following is the scorecard for this tournament: RANCHO SOLANO GC 7-15-2017

June 25, 2017 was a perfect day for golf at Teal Bend Golf Course in Sacramento. It was a sunny and just breezy enough to keep the mosquitos down. We had a great turnout and everyone had a good time. Following is the scorecard for this tournament: TEAL BEND GC 6-25-2017

May 13, 2017 turned out to be a beautiful day at Apple Mountain Golf Resort in Camino, California. It was chilly with a little breeze, but sunny. The views were gorgeous displaying a peak of the Sierra Mountain snow every once in a while, and the course was in great shape. The rain brought beautiful wildflowers and the planted landscape was in full bloom. Take a look at the fairway fun feed for a peak into the day. April 23, 2017 was a special tournament bringing NorCal Travelers Golf Club back to Empire Ranch Golf Course in Folsom, California where only one year before we celebrated our first tournament. The sun was shining bringing a lot of fun and relief from the rain. We surpassed our expectations by making this tournament an even bigger success than our first. March 19, 2017 we celebrated Spring by playing Morgan Creek Golf Club in Roseville. Our first tee time was 8:30 (ugh), but it was a great day for golf. It was a beautiful Spring day without mosquitoes. We had a big turnout of 24 golfers, and enjoyed old friends and new friends. February 18 – 19, 2017 was our first official travel tournament. We were scheduled to play Bayonet & Black Horse in Seaside. We all headed to Monterey for a great weekend of fun and golf, but mother nature had a different idea. Friday night brought a big storm creating a mess on the roads. We all made it through the mess because we’re die hard golfers. When Saturday morning came around, it was still very stormy, the club house was without power and the courses were riddled with water, fallen trees, and debris. Needless to say the tournament was cancelled. Although as the morning progressed, the storm subsided and the course did allow those who wanted to golf a chance to brave the hazards. A handful of us golfed on Black Horse Saturday, then Sunday we were all on the Bayonet course. We had a great day without too many hazards as the golf club did their best to clean up.

January 2017 was a very wet month, so we had to cancel our tournament. California has been in a drought for several years so giving up our tournament to rain is okay. We’re looking forward to the next 11 months of great golf weather but bring your mosquito repellent, with all this water there’s bound to be mosquito’s! See you on the fairway.

2016

December 18, 2016 we golfed at Ancil Hoffman Golf Course in Carmichael. The first tee time was scheduled for 9:04, but the temperature was in the 30’s so there was a frost delay. Once we finally got going, around 9:55, the day remained cold but was beautiful. Everyone who played had a great time! It was a wonderful way to wrap up a successful year for our club. November 12, 2016 we golfed at Mather Golf Course in Rancho Cordova. We had an 8:30 shotgun start and couldn’t have asked for better weather. Following is the scorecard for this tournament: Mather GC 11-12-2016
